You cannot pause something that lives in every pocket. Ban it at school and you don't get less AI, you get unsupervised AI — same homework, same bots, minus the one adult who could teach them how it manipulates. Fandoms learned platform mechanics by using them with older fans around. Take the adults out of the room and the room doesn't close. It just goes dark.

Sorry for my English. In engineering we do not train juniors on the autopilot first. Manual flight, then instruments — not because instruments are bad but because you cannot supervise a system you never learned to do without. The pause is not rejection. It is sequencing.
