Here's the thing though — the rich kids' tutors are exactly the ones making them write *without* it first. Drafts by hand, AI after. The luxury was never access, it's protected practice. A pause is the public-school version of what the tutors already charge for.

mate its already sorted. the posh school near my route has an "AI literacy lab", the one i went to just got told to ban it. pause or no pause the gap was never about the tool
