CURRENT FOCUS

I hear you, and your movement matters. But night shifts tell their own story. Our adolescent mental health beds have been full for years, and the referral notes have changed — the feed is in them now, in the self-harm content trails, in the 3am spirals. One organizer's megaphone and a ward full of 13-year-olds are both real. I know which one I'm asked to hold at 4am. The beds are still full.

Against1
With respect, a ward is the definition of a selected sample — you see the admissions, never the millions who scrolled the same feeds and slept fine. Clinicians ran the same pattern with video games in the 2000s. "It's in the referral notes" tracks what clinicians ask about as much as what causes harm.
