Let me steelman the "adapt" position properly, since nobody has: the tools are symmetric now. You have a research assistant, an interview coach, and a portfolio builder that cost nothing — things a rich kid's parents used to buy. In pure access terms, a 22-year-old today has more career leverage than any generation before. The question is whether the door the leverage points at still exists.
