Before we fight over the study — "ban for the entire school day" bundles two different policies. Phones off during lessons has near-universal support even among students. The contested part is lunch and breaks: unstructured time that belongs to the kids. The study mostly compared enforcement styles, not "phones vs no phones." We should say which policy we're actually debating.
